  1. I was a BIG PM fan back in the early 80's Saw him live many times. I've lost touch with him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmWLAt_KSYE
  2. WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, WHOA!!!!! That's not right. Comparing Rush to the marionette nostalgia band that is the Stones is just crazy! I just put both bands in the longevity category with such a large catalog of music to choose from. Not here to bash bands either.
  3. Working Man... all because of the 12 seconds of bliss from Alex starting at 3:00 into the song.
  4. This album was released my senior year of college and we played the hell out of it in the dorms. I never bought it on CD but I may need to add this to my collection.
  5. Good band...while they lasted. I lost touch after this song.
  6. http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w276/custom55/RURUCUPVAR000_000_zpsdb362566.jpg Right now I have a gin and tonic in my 2112 cup. I love these things !!!
  7. It's been decades and I miss. http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w276/custom55/bong.jpg
  8. I think we found a drummer for her although he may be too young for touring
  9. Since I spend as many days possible on snow ( snowboarder ) this is what I look like. http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w276/custom55/IMG_0049-1.jpg
  10. Very cool. What's with the KISS ornament ? :|
  11. I know this is an old interview with Van Halen ( 1989 ) but Eddie does a quick mention Rush and it's the first time I'm hearing it so I'd thought I would share. Listen around 6:00-6:40. I guess it's a compliment ?
  12. Row 2, on the center aisle, in front of Alex, May 11, 2013 with HalfwayToGone. I've seen many many shows over the years and I'm getting very picky as to what shows I see and where the seat is. Next stop Boston for The Stones, good seats but not great.
  13. Three in a row !!! A Farewell to Kings Hemispheres Permanent Waves -------------------- The Weapon Lakeside Park
  14. I saw Rush May 11 and the sound was fantastic... No complaints here. :musicnote:
  15. Whatever drugs they were or were not doing worked... Great collection of music.
  16. Love this band but haven't been too interested in their last few albums... From what I've heard of this album, I love it. I recently bought the Mad Season (RIP Layne) expanded edition and I'm really enjoying the live stuff from that. I LOVE the John Lennon cover. Check this out .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UdsN4_bQOE
  17. The Stones.... Boston June 14. http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w276/custom55/DSC00717a.jpg
  18. Ditto ... a great shirt from a great album
  19. So tomorrow is the twenty-fourth of May..... What are you doing ? The start of Memorial Day weekend !!! Raining weather forecast for NJ so.... :hail: Everyone would gather On the twenty-fourth of May Sitting in the sand To watch the fireworks display. Dancing fires on the beach, Singing songs together... Though it's just a memory, Some memories last forever.
  20. There is the SHM-CD from Japan as well. I have other SHM-CD's ( Led Zep, The Stones, Yes ) and they sound great. I'm think of the SHM-CD version. http://www.ebay.com/itm/200826161089?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648
  21. Wow. same complaints on this site as the Rolling Stones fan sites. When a band has longevity like Rush and The Rolling Stones there will alway be fan complaints about the band playing the "War Horses" ( Tom Sawyer for Rush, Satisfaction for the Stones, etc. ). The fact they have so many songs to choose, they'll never please everybody so they have to be happy themselves. The bands are the ones play the songs night to night, over and over. Be thankful they are still touring and enjoy they show. :codger: Also Rush has just put out an incredible album and after 40 years, that is amazing.
