Tough to top this classic from the 60s. I got this album + a pair of bell bottoms for Christmas in 1969. I was 14 yo and was orbiting the earth that day.

Happy 50th to this album. I remember walking in to a a dorm room at college 1974 and Get Your Wings was playing. I was sold.

Released this day in 1972. I had this album in high school.

I lost touch with him. He use to reach out to me to attend local shows ( The Musical Box for one ) but I haven't heard from him in a few years.

I just read that the Zep song Jimmy dislikes the most is Living Loving Maid ( She's Just A Woman ) off II. Listening to LZ II this morning.

I saw Porno For Pyros over the weekend. Great show but the music mix was pretty bad. anyway... Mike Watt on bass made be go back to an early 90s punk album I had from his band. My favorite tune off this album.
