  1. This song makes AMLOR worth it. I rarely play AMLOR but when I do I look forward to hear this. I saw PF in 1994 at a sold out Giants Stadium ( 70,000 people ) and hearing this riff rattling the stadium seats, priceless. One of Gilmour's warhorses, played LOUD. 2. Well that's a nice detour from the majority of this chat! Thanks bro We should all get our Zep on more! :D Just check out what Robert Plant has been doing for the last 25 years... Robert is still very innovative. His last album, Lulabye and the Ceaseless Roar, is amazing.
  3. Well that's a nice detour from the majority of this chat! Thanks bro We should all get our Zep on more! :D Yeah... it NEVER gets old. Two great back to back songs. http://youtu.be/VNIZ7VMNzD0
  4. Absolutely! I tried to stick to all studio albums, but the Allmans at Fillmore East, I couldn't resist. Good calls on the others as well...I love that Traffic album (my favourite of theirs is John Barleycorn Must Die, even though it doesn't represent a defining classic rock moment quite as well). I agree but the are notes, jams, screams, solos, etc on live albums that you can't find on the studio versions of the songs. http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w276/custom55/IMG_0391.jpg
  5. A lot of great selections and not to duplicate albums already mentioned, I'd like to insert the following. Traffic - Low Spark of High Heeled Boys The Who - Live at Leeds Crosby Stills & Nash - Crosby Stills & Nash Blind Faith - Blind Faith
  6. For me Pink Floyd started with Ummagumma. In high school we had 'talent' day the last Friday of every month. I remember some dancer came out on the stage dancing to 'A Narrow Way,' light show and all. I was sitting in the audience and said, I need to find out who's playing that song. Been a fan ever since and haven't missed a tour, by the band or members of the band, that passed through NYC/NJ since 1973. Freshman year 1970. http://youtu.be/UKHnkOArJ4Y
  7. I saw STP a few times and once with the RHCP back in 2000. STP > RHCP for sure. No comparison, STP rocked. I think this video is from the same tour as I remember the red tinsel curtain for a backdrop. The Deleo brothers are from NJ. http://youtu.be/3Ha0wr7e6pQ
  8. great closing song to a great album
  9. Robert Plant Always innovative with his music and different artists. Lullabye and the Ceaseless Roar ( 2015 ) http://youtu.be/6IL4HxFLeX4 The Mighty ReArranger ( 2005 ) http://youtu.be/BsS2_uh4qq4
  10. I'm getting into the Psychedelia music lately. I can only take it in small doses but I find it interesting and I'm look forward to going to a show of this type of music. Follakziod - Trees ( 2012 )
  11. Stunning music ( 2015 ) http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w276/custom55/Blackstar_album_cover_zpsmacylnmm.jpg
  12. Stone Temple Pilots - My favorite band from the 90's. Too bad Scott couldn't keep healthy and keep the band going with him in it. Never got into the Chester ( forgot the last name ) version. Not a bad song written from the Scott days.
  13. Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter ... is fantastic ( Well done Sonny ) Keith Richards - Under the Influence Rolling Stones - Some Girls Live in Texas The Who - The Amazing Journey
  14. When I was younger I used to be able to sing along with the falsetto Mick does in this song. Now, not so much lol. Didn't they play this one recently for the first time? They did. I believe it only few years back... 2013/14 ?
  15. Keith Keith Keith... Many historical R&R riffs came from Keith. I've seen The Stones more than any other band and I've seen the good/great and the bad/terrible with Keith. Unmistakable sound no doubt and too many riffs to name. Oh, never a sellout !!! http://youtu.be/-qnfPQQiQv0
  16. I could never get into IM. Not sure why but they never won me over.
  17. Rock is not dead... Listen to Prince's band 3RDEYEGIRL
