  1. We can only hope they're done with that sort of thing! I think an overture/ medley will be done at some point. But not to start the show. End of a set/ encore works better.
  2. Tom Sawyer fits on this tour. Spirit of Radio is always possible, but probably will be an encore. Longshot: Working Man. 1st album, crowd would jump through the roof. Possible on a chronological setlist, never has been done 1st
  3. and Jane Seymour is the best Bond Girl ever! Jane Seymour was totally hot in her time. Haven't seen any recent photos of her, so can't say how she looks now. She has a contract with the Lifetime, Hallmark TV, ABC Family movie network. She is in a bunch of those. Last movie she looked real Hot in was 'Wedding Crashers' 12 years ago....so...
  4. That would be terrible. A great way to brainwash the masses even more!! But aren't people already brainwashing themselves with the news? Most people are loyal to one news source. Fox, CNN, MSNBC. Most people do not float between 3-4 news sources. I equate it to your home internet page. Most people ONLY see Yahoo or MSN. Not both. Already happening.
  5. I think after MFH, Geddy would have formed a new band at some point. Remember, MFH came out in 2000, 15 years ago. Had the band splintered, I think Alex and Geddy could have formed a new band. Maybe a supergroup. You know musicians love Rush, guys would have been drooling over themselves to record with Al and Ged. It would not be Rush, and may have had some following, but Ged and Al would be in the music industry in some form. Hopefully not on American Idol
  6. How nice would it be to ONLY have 1 news channel. All of the Bravo, USA, etc....I never watch them....
  7. Starting in 2016 in Canada you will get to subscribe only to those channels you actually watch. Hallelujah. Now if only the good ol USA can follow in their footsteps. Got me thinking, how many channels do you actually NEED or use on a daily/ weekly basis. And in the future will you go, "I don't watch that show, my house gets no A&E." http://finance.yahoo...-202608119.html
  8. Wayyyyyy too much Clockwork Angles in this set son. 4 songs?? Enough already!!! Saw enough of that train wreck last tour. Not Happening. Really? If you look at their touring history. The previously released album is always represented strongly during its release and the following concert. Whether you want it or not. Clockwork Angels will be strongly represented during this tour and its far from a train wreck. You may be correct. But on Time Machine they did not bombard us with 'Snakes and Arrows' Only played 2- Far Cry and Workin' Them Angels. I believe they will spread out the music over dozens of albums on R40 as well. So you get 2 from CA. Maybe And CA is a snoozefest...ask around You're right about everything but CA, which is the most exciting album the band released since MP. It's a sonic mess, but not a snooze fest. Agree, was very excited about the upcoming release of CA, with the hype, but it was missing something song in song out. Great lyrics, but not as creative and unique as it could have been. Very produced.
  9. Medley's are usually unique to a tour. Good data. And yes despite, the Quebec cancellation...Tom Sawyer is at 100% This list will be 80% of the setlist no matter how you slice it
  10. Yup - You are right on course then. We all felt the same way watching it. Keep us updated.

  12. Really? I can't begin to explain how stunned I am. Certainly the band has a song that is much better and even more radio friendly. I personally despise 'NWM'. It's too poppy for my tastes, but I feel sadly, it will be on R40 as do many others. But it was not on R30 or TM, so maybe the band feels the same most of us do. If this an unofficial farewell, I think it makes the cut. For the 71 people in attendance who love it
  13. The math answer is Phil Collins > Peter Gabriel 1- Abacab 2- Duke 3- The one with Mama 4- But Seriously....Oh wait, that was just Phil 5- Biko

  15. I tried it early on, and bailed. Maybe I'll take it up again. Wise minds can't be wrong can they?
  16. Rush has exactly ZERO fans on MySpace. https://myspace.com/officialrush/topfans
