I agree they’re very different. Brian is more into artistic expressions on the guitar while Eddie is more into explosions and special effects. I don’t have a preference between these two. I love them both.

Aerosmith and Van Halen double matchup?
EagleMoon replied to Texas King's topic in Music Of The Spheres
Van Halen for both. I’ve had all of the albums but I just prefer VH. Aerosmith is a band that very quickly tired and bored me. -
Bands who tune down live, when is it too much?
EagleMoon replied to fraroc's topic in Music Of The Spheres
I have never liked it in the bands that I’ve been in and I’ve always fought against it. Depends on the song, but some of them really drag and sound awful when tuned down. I hear people use the excuse that the audience is tone deaf all the time but I don’t think that’s true. I think people can’t tell the difference, they may not know why it sounds different but they will know that it doesn’t sound as good. Like when Rush has tuned down 2112 for so many years. It’s never sounded as good as when played in the original key. -
I remember this. Pretty funny!

Happy anniversary! Hard to believe it’s been four years.

Beauty and the Beast. The new one. Very well done. I was never a fan of the animated version but this was superb.

It’s finally cooled off into the 90s. Much more tolerable than the 100’s though I’m going to miss monsoon season.

John Wick II. Like watching a live action video game. Amazing. Liked it even better than the first one.

Uplifting (?) prog-pop albums face off!
EagleMoon replied to Entre_Perpetuo's topic in Music Of The Spheres
1. Abacab 2. HYF 3. 90125 Abacab has always been one of my favorite Genesis albums and one of favorite albums period. -
Yeah with that type of bridge it’s a balance between the string and spring tension. There are a lot of tutorial videos on YouTube about setting up that type of bridge.

Midi’s are the scourge of music. ;)

Only if it's the Aerosmith album. Steven Tyler's lips are scarier than a barrel full of monsters And so is his "mustache" and goatee http://i.pinimg.com/736x/c1/d1/f6/c1d1f6319ba8f7d939862248759661c2--nostalgic-music-steven-tyler-aerosmith.jpg. No, those are just dumb I think hes trying to be Jack Sparrow and failing miserably. He looks more like Jack Shit! Every time I see a guy with a mustache I think of The Village People.

I guess I just like to see assholes pay the price for their bullshit. And in a town where the majority of the voters are Senior citizens who just might harbor homophobic feelings it could cost him in the general election. If this was your son or family member I guess you would be ok with it? Sorry but your type of attitude is almost as bad as the morons who spew this shit. "Oh just let it go..teehee"... I'm sorry that my advice doesn't seem to apply; as with most things I write on this board you are free to use or not use the parts that might be helpful. I was just responding in a general manner to what you described in very general terms. Since the friend you are talking about is/was running for elected office I was assuming they are 1) an adult and 2) knowing that they will have to put up with some opposition in their run for office. I wasn't saying "teehee" let it go, I was recommending, "don't waste precious campaign energy responding to jerks." This has happened a few times in school board, mayor, zoning board races etc. around here and suddenly everyone is all over the person's entire internet life (both insulter and responder) and has taken screen shots of everything before they can take it down. Not everyone can withstand that. Of course if your friend was a student or teen being cyber bullied it would be different. I hope the rest of your friend's campaign goes OK for them. I agree. Responding to it just draws attention to it. Better to just ignore and move on.

I seriously doubt a Facebook comment would be considered as real evidence considering anyone could be using the account.

What type of guitar and bridge is it? Not all tremolo bridges are the same.

Heaviest can mean different things to different people. To some that means production as well as thick layered songs. It could also relate to song composition. As far as heavy and doomy, I’d put Vapor Trails way up there. It just drags. Then CA and Snakes for the same reason. Poppiest is a bit more specific so I’d say Presto or RTBs. Atypical? The debut.

I bet he's probably spent about a month at home. I am sure Carrie knew going in exactly what she was getting. Yeah, a shitload of money. god you people are cynical :rfl: My post wasn't intended to be cynical. He always seems like he's on the road when he describes his life in his books. My post wasn't meant to be cynical either, it was meant to be funny. And mine truthful. Mine was being truthful as well considering what he’s shown us in his books.

Your favorite member of Led Zeppelin?
EagleMoon replied to Texas King's topic in Music Of The Spheres
All of them but I'll have to say Jimmy Page's guitar work is what drew me to the music.
