  1. I think one big one, my dad mentions a lot, is the cross on La Villa Strangiato. Starting at the beginning of Alex's solo.
  2. David Gilmoure lost his hair and he looks B.A. bald. I think Alex could pull it off.
  3. That's awesome! I'll send it to you ASAP. When would you like them in by?
  4. That was such an entertaining read. Thank you for posting!
  5. I like the Classic Rock special that came with the fan pack of Clockwork Angels. I'll take a picture later when I get back home. But I really enjoy it.
  6. You're really not missing much. Here's a sample: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPtfi-zpskE GOOD ONE.
  7. Here's a sweet version of Overture. Check out their other music on Youtube. Pretty epic, in my opinion. Maybe there might be this sheet music somewhere on Google? I would look more but I have to head out! Hope this all helps.
  8. Where would one find those? Looking for it hashed out for an orchestra - Bass, Cello, Viola, Violin I'll take a look and see if I can find something. I know a string quartet did all of the 2112 album. I'll see if there's a chart for, at least, the Overture. I can't make promises for the other two. Is the teacher able to take a normal music sheet and transpose it for an orchestra?
  9. My goodness. I'll answer the damn question. Try Overture for 2112, The Garden, and YYZ. Just try printing those three out and see which one he enjoys more. Hope these are good ideas! I've always been a massive string fan. Never knew how to play anything related to them, but they just sound so awesome.
  10. Never listened to The Runaways before. I'm thinking I should still keep it this way?
  11. That's unusual. Usually a drummer is able to discard a broken stick quickly without missing a beat usually by playing one handed for a second or so. I'm speaking from personal experience of course:) Usually they can. I've seen Neil do it before on his Taking Center Stage DVD. So, he knows how to do it (duh). Must've been a brain fart. Not something very noticeable, my dad and I went to their Chicago show last year and the string section started speeding up on YYZ. Oops. And my favorite is I believe for their R30 tour, during Roll the Bones, one of the techs must've messed up Alex's effects pedals because the Tom Sawyer synth kept playing throughout the song. It was pretty funny!
  12. It's not true. Her life very much consists of just "Oprah". She had an interview with Ellie Wiesel (survivor of the Holocaust) and he getting weepy explaining his story and about his father (who died right next to Ellie during their imprisonment). And he tells her the date his father died and she interrupted him to say "Did you know, the day your father died..is the same day as my birthday?" I'm not kidding you. I was furious when I was watching that interview. Could be one of the rudest things for an interviewer to say. Either my brain isn't working well today (a good possibility) or you didn't understand my post. I was saying that she comes across as someone that will help others IF it makes HER look compassionate, kind, and other heavenly delights. imho Whoops sorry! It was me. I read it wrong. I guess MY brain is dead!

  14. Now why would Fox know about Rush anyway? They are a right wing mouthpiece and have no clue.
  15. Seriously, this could be believable. A majority of them are arrogant.
