  1. They played Moving Pictures in it's entirety because that's what a majority of what THE FANS WANTED. Not just you. And the Tour Sucked! These are the same fans who want to hear Limelight. Freewill, Tom Sawyer, YYZ, Closer To the Heart, Subdivisions, Xanadu and The Trees every concert. I respect your opinion, but one man's thought is not going to change an entire outcome of a tour. Just don't go/listen.
  2. You need a link to iTunes? I don't use Apple products. So, I don't have it don't have it installed to any of my PCs. :D

  4. Where's the evidence of this?? If he's talking about that hacking session someone had. That was def Chili Pepper's drummer.
  5. No worries. A record is technically a disc, right? Good point. I think it's cool that Apple made a turntable you can plug into your computer and play your record through your PC/Mac. It's pretty smart.
  6. ..Are you a Metallica fan or something?
  7. I know the part where Al is talking about Long and McQuade... it's down the street from where I live and I go there all the time. Have quite a few instruments from there myself. That was interesting. It's such a bizarre feeling knowing how small of a world we live in.
  8. So weird hearing them talk about Kalamazoo and Geddy and Alex getting their signature guitars and what not from where. I'm literally only a little under an hour away from there.
  9. Better than setlist prediction threads. ...And I hope the guys didn't get too much flak for cancelling a few shows throughout their whole career. That'd be annoying.
  10. Sorry. I didn't see the "best quality discs" part. I thought you flat out wanted the best quality for anything. Whoops.
  11. I'm going to YouTube it. No way do I want to deal with that kind of frustration right now. haha
  12. Oh my gosh, Fountain of Lamnenth and Here Again sound so similar. I love this.
  13. That was awesome! Good work. Good voice, bassist was rockin' out, and the guitarist is HUGE!
  14. Yay! That's what I'm saying! Geddy even said that's one of the hardest songs for him.
  15. "Definitive" Rush tracks for me: Clockwork Angels 7COG Caravan BU2B Anarchist is right on the edge of making it 5. The sheer depth of CA is what makes it amazing. HLF is like my #9 song on the album... ridiculous :smoke: I'd go with Caravan, Clockwork Angels, Headlong Flight and The Garden. The Anarchist is moving its way in there too. 7cog is probably my least favorite, but it's not bad. Hard to go wrong with those songs...I'm really curious as to why SCOG hasn't really gotten the love. It's funny that it's probably your least favorite, yet you can say "it's not bad", which speaks to the greatness of Clockwork Angels No love for The Anarchist? :(
  16. Vinyl will always be best because it isn't constrained with memory limit like CDs are. Vinyls, not exaggerating, have every bit of what the studio actually records and plays what the band originally intended for it to sound like.
  17. are you talking about that very subtle cross? Yes! I hear many musicians mention this part. It's a tough little thing to do. It has a jazzy/bluesy edge to it. They're mostly blown away by the transitioning into traditional grip and the time change without hardly being noticed. At least, that's what I hear from drummers.
  18. Yes, completely agree. Geddy shreds that song. I've always loved La Villa Strangiato live versions. Not because of just Alex's "self indulgence" speeches but it sounds so awesome live.
  19. What a rip, GeddyRulz. Glad you didn't pay him anything.
  20. Like Nickelback, right?
  21. I think one big one, my dad mentions a lot, is the cross on La Villa Strangiato. Starting at the beginning of Alex's solo.
  22. David Gilmoure lost his hair and he looks B.A. bald. I think Alex could pull it off.
  23. That's awesome! I'll send it to you ASAP. When would you like them in by?
  24. That was such an entertaining read. Thank you for posting!
