  1. I bet you'd be their favorite fan if you made them play Tai Shan.
  2. Oh man, I would choose the day with Geddy. Too much in common not to turn down compared to the others.
  3. Indeed! Hahaha. You couldn't hear him much but he was RIPPING IT UP! He especially sounded good during the Run DMC part in the beginning. That was a juicy bass line. Yeah, that bass line at the beginning is some kind of tasty! I had to listen to it about five times before I could get on to the rest of the song Pretty much! I hope this gives them more of an opportunity to play with other bands more often! I thought all of the musicians on that stage fit perfectly!

  5. Ya that part jumped out at me too! Neil never smiles. Mind you he's pretty busy when he's playing his own stuff! Even then, he looked busy there. But you could tell he was having a blast playing with Hawkins and the others. Made me smile, really.
  6. Enjoy! It's a really good version, in my opinion! Every single musician up there, I love. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcIT3jcMtm8
  7. Awe man! I love Neurotica! But I can see why Geddy loves it. It's awesome singing and ripping bass. Especially Manhattan Project! That song is AWESOME on bass!
  8. I would hang that up right on my front door to my house....or room. What ever works.
  9. Hardly. I hate that guy! I can't stand him, talk about annoying. That man has been annoying me since I was a kid. But then again I can't deal with any musical act from New Jersey for some reason. (I hate you too Bon Jovi!) What do you guys hate about Springsteen? His music (which I hate)? His stage presence (which does look annoying imho)? Or his personality (I've never seen one of his interviews or anything like that so I wouldnt know)? Mostly the music, though the fact that the critics treat him like he's the second coming of Christ doesn't help. Ah. Gotcha. I pretty much think of critics as insects with a voice. They can be easily ignored Laughedatbytime is correct about that and it doesn't help that he probably does think he is the second coming of Christ. He's a very egotistical guy who uses politics and disasters to receive recognition and praise. Plus, his playing is atrocious. The way he plays the guitar....it should be ripped out of his hands. I bet it would be pretty easy, it's covered in sweat anyway. It would slip through his hands like it was greased in butter.
  10. Losing It and Countdown are awesome closure songs. I beg to differ, The Garden is the best.
  11. http://ih1.redbubble.net/image.9624157.2870/sticker,375x360.png
  12. My vote was for "Wish Them Well" Freeze. I Think I'm Going Bald When you think this you are beyond think, I should know. Now featuring...DOG YEARS AND TAI SHAN!!!
  13. My vote was for "Wish Them Well" Freeze.
  14. I really like it. Not necessarily top 5. I wish it was a bit more guitar driven like 2112 but Neil and Geddy absolutely dominate the song. It's a definite headbanger, that's for sure.
  15. Read the first post. He makes it pretty clear why it matters to him. I tend to agree. We all have our opinions.. Well, I mean, I'm all with him of how amazing it was. I remember I got my wisdom teeth pulled the day it came out and I was high on Vicodin so it made the experience even more pleasurable. But I'm sure it will be back up again, sometime soon. It doesn't mean it's the end of the world.
  16. Hardly. I hate that guy! Pretty much everyone on here does. Thank God. I've been accused of not being a fan of real music for this.
  17. Listen to the actual album version until this is resolved?
  18. I'm not the only one in this world who hates Springsteen!? Yeah, he sounds like quite a dummy.
  19. Haha at least Geddy isn't gross!
  20. I don't think Rush uses the "venue's sound system". The sound system travels with them along with the rest of the production, to each show. I think you're right. But the problem could also be the venue's acoustics. Some venues have AWFUL designs.
  21. I love how someone randomly brought up our country's "downfall". lol Edit: Just found the best comment on there... "Can you just imaging how many drug and alchohol induced hangovers’ it took for these morons to come up with something this stupid and think is was funny?" ...RUSH fans...ATTACK.
  22. ..... whoa now...... :o this is what TRF posters used to look like? And you guys drove him away? Psh, I look better than that. AND I play bass. ;) I heard ducky isn't too shabby either. We're still here!
  23. I see where you're coming from, Goobs. But most people like casual fans always want to hear songs like 2112, Tom Sawyer, or Spirit of Radio regardless of Geddy's voice. So, I think they're mostly playing all these well known songs purely for their casual fans. As much as those songs can be a challenge to them sometimes, I'm sure they would love to take a break from them for a tour a two. Whilst, they let us indulge in their more not very well known songs like Clockwork Angels, S&A, Grace Under Pressure and now Power Windows songs.
