  1. For everyone's info, this show has been sold out since last night as I tried to get a ticket myself. Rats!!! :( Update: Second 8:30 pm showing has been added with the directors (McFayden & Dunn) of the documentary hosting the event with a Q&A session afterwards!! Grab your tix now!!!
  2. That brings up a good point... I have been wondering "What do you wear to a gig like this" Dress casual or my threadbare original Permanent Waves tour shirt , tattered jeans , bandana ( dress bandana , I learned that from Axl Rose ) old high top Reeboks and jeans jacket ?? Decisions , decicions. I feel we can wear anything within reason but out of respect I will be wearing nice slacks and my 2011 jersey. The wife will look he usual hotness of course. The wardrobe question is just driving me nuts!!! I gotta find a nice gown/dress to wear for Thursday; I'm assuming that Wednesday is jeans/sweatshirt casual, but I'm gonna call and hopefully get more info. I have about a month to find the right dress! Wednesday ? what did I miss ?? It's part of the deluxe VIP package - Weds/Thurs rehearsals prior to the show...Rush is rehearsing Weds night...got the email after dinner tonight....WooHoo!!! :yay:
  3. Yes, I'd be willing to pay the same $$$ for a shortened show. It's still :rush: !!!! Might be an option in the future to prevent too much strain on everyone. Playing at their current intense level for 2.5+ hrs every other night cannot be easy.
  4. Yeah, I hear ya! This adversion to the fans is getting quite old already! The same fans that allow him to have the lifestyle he's accustomed to! :rage: We're lucky he's even attending the RRHOF ceremony. He claims he's never watched Beyond the Lighted Stage. In Beyond..he claims that he just gets "creeped out" by the fans adoration. What did us fans do collectively to make him recoil into his shell? Besides some crazy idiots asking about the first family situation after it happened, which is very old news now anyway...He has a new family and should feel comfortable now. Time to move out of that sheltered existence..... First off, his tragedies were chronicled in the doc. He probably doesn't want to field fan questions from that part of his life. Thirdly, I think Neil's "shyness" was adequately explained in the doc, so either accept it or harbor hostilities against Neil for the rest of his life. :) Hey, I have no problem or harbor any hostility with Neil at all...I can fully understand his reluctance to do interviews as some people seem quite obsessed with the details of a 15+ year old story for some weird reason? If everyone would simply focus on current events rather than the past history, perhaps we could give Neil some "comfort room" that he needs. No need for anyone to relive the past, what the hell does that serve? Nothing at all. I just wish that at this time when RUSH is being recognized in such great fashion, that he could join Alex and Geddy and be comfortable for a change.
  5. Several years ago, I interviewed for a Stamford, CT job with Peter Lanza (the father of the Newtown CT shooter)...real nice man, BTW!!!! No, I didn't get the job!! :scared:
  6. Okay ILS! No more alcohol for you!!!! Put that bottle down!!! :laughing guy: :laughing guy:
  7.   No Way!!! This is Rush's moment, not Taylor or Dave's!!! :madra:
  8. Just Alex's humor at his best!! Not that the darn thing wasn't as heavy as one!! :laughing guy:
  9. LOL! He'll be making setlists until they play "Losing It" live...keep dreaming L2K!! Like L2K, I believe that we have the perfect marriage between the 80's stuff and the CA material. What an great setlist! I just love the entire show!!! :ebert: :) :madra:
  10. Finally started getting emails again the other day after a long absence. You guys must be hard at work! Did the upgrade with the new look or increased chat room capacity have anything to do with it? (Just miss the ampitheater logo with the spotlights on the changing album covers...LOL!!) :ebert:

  16. Only $18? Wow...boy how have times changed! Need to spend mega $$$ now just to guarantee a great floor seat...Not everyone can afford it now with the economy the way it is...it's the fault of the greedy ticket brokers; prices should be capped at a certain ceiling to prevent the outrageous prices that I've seen on StubHub for example. $1,500 for a first row tix...please!!!
  17. That's Great! So they will be nice and polished before the Weds/Thurs rehearsals for the award presentation run-thrus. I'm hoping they let everyone present (me included) take some once-in-a-lifetime pics, but who knows....
  18. Hey Lady2112! Yes, I'm going and dressing to the nines as I'm going to the after-show party ! (I purchased a deluxe VIP ticket.) I'll be wearing a JKara sequined beaded full length gown/dress with bolero jacket, pearl necklace, earrings with matching bracket and black heels and handbag. Can't forget my RUSH 2112 necklace and Black RUSH Wristbands! I hope they let me bring in my RUSH car flag and/or RUSH license plates as well. As I haven't gotten a firm response in regard to the dress code for the rehearsals on Weds/Thurs, I guess I'll be wearing my RUSH CA tour shirt with jeans. I'll take along my Rush red hoodie in case it's freezing in the theater. Whatever you wear doesn't matter (within reason), we just need as many female RUSH fans as possible screaming when the boys accept their awards to prove that all RUSH fans aren't male. LOL! I fly to LA on Monday!! I'm so stoked! This is going be awesome! :ebert: :yay: :cheerleader:  :haz: :rush: :rush: :haz:
  19. If history repeats itself then the answer is no way in hell. Well, no picks from China so maybe we have a chance?.... (Not sure what the "exclusive Item" is though, so who knows....I'm not betting on getting the stuff before my June shows.....
  20. They can take out anything except Red Sector A...it's my favorite song!!! :scared:
  21. You are surely missing out! You can't be serious about TS?? Considering live :rush: to your Ipod? ;)
  22. Yeah, that would be awesome! And with the double necks!!
