Hey Lady2112! Yes, I'm going and dressing to the nines as I'm going to the after-show party ! (I purchased a deluxe VIP ticket.) I'll be wearing a JKara sequined beaded full length gown/dress with bolero jacket, pearl necklace, earrings with matching bracket and black heels and handbag. Can't forget my RUSH 2112 necklace and Black RUSH Wristbands! I hope they let me bring in my RUSH car flag and/or RUSH license plates as well. As I haven't gotten a firm response in regard to the dress code for the rehearsals on Weds/Thurs, I guess I'll be wearing my RUSH CA tour shirt with jeans. I'll take along my Rush red hoodie in case it's freezing in the theater. Whatever you wear doesn't matter (within reason), we just need as many female RUSH fans as possible screaming when the boys accept their awards to prove that all RUSH fans aren't male. LOL! We have a Queen Sterns and Foster Deluxe pillowtop. It's nice and soft. I can't sleep on a hard bed as I have a bad back! Fieldcrest Luxury 400 count sheets & pillowcases from Target. Non-down comforter (I'm allergic) and fleece blanket to stay warm! Only downside to a pillowtop? As mentioned previously, you can't flip it over. so there are two nice sized "ruts" in it. LOL!

I iron my hubby's work dress shirts and pants for him as he works in Toronto during the week. I figure if he's living outta a suitcase in a hotel on a weekly basis, the least I can do is the ironing for him on Sunday mornings before I take him back to the airport. For myself, I rarely iron anymore as I work in a casual accounting office (thank god!). Now, ironing my RRHOF induction gown will be a beast; so I'll iron it once before my flight, and iron it again once I get there (hoping it doesn't get crushed in the suitcase!).....I fly to LA in two weeks from today....Woohoo!!!! So much to do before then.....

I too am tired of hearing TS, but I still like hearing it - if for nothing else, the first timers. There was a time I didn't like it at all because all the poser Rush fans would say they love that song. This will be my daughter's first show, she is trying to learn to play the keyboards in TS, so she would be disappointed if they didn't play it. She said she would really like to see Headlong Flight and The Camera Eye. You have a point, but there's always YouTube, and there are 8 other live albums containing the song, not to mention several compilations and "Moving Pictures" itself. You're gonna tell me watching it on YouTube and seeing it performed live, surrounded by thousands of screaming fans is the same? Seriously?? Watching :rush: YouTube videos only works if you've been at the taped show in question...then it feels like your there all over again IMO....providing that the show video quality isn't bad! (I had to do something to relieve my post-shows depression on the first leg!) LOL!! Must have watched the Indy and Chicago videos a million times already! Anyone else do this?? Or I am I just a :rush: freak??
