  1. Then what, a mouth harp section?
  2. From what I've seen you do die a lot, and having tons of weapons does not mean you're sure to survive long. Here is a link to a guy with quite a few vids, has good narrative and really gives you a real idea of what the game is about. https://www.youtube....kout diary&sm=3 I just envision a game that turns into a power gamer haven where the guys who live in Moms basement and play 20 hrs a day have characters that cannot be killed by new players or players with little playtime. Then you just have a bunch of high level players griefing the community all the time. I can see that as well. I used to play Bioshock 2 online and would get mauled the people with nothing but time to play all day long. It really killed it for me. But with Dayz there is a huge amount of space to travel/hide in. Don't know if that would make it any better. Ultimately if there is no goal or final outcome of the game it'll just be the same old thing, hide shoot, run which gets boring fast.
  3. 14 and 9...They will always be babies to me though.

  5. I've seen every episode and I'm waiting for something to happen...lots of swearing, some full frontal, some f'n...lots and lots of names that are hard to keep track of, a somewhat confusing plot line...it's not terrible, but it isn't great either. It wouldn't be hard to stop watching 'cuz there really isn't anything great going on, but it's juuuuust good enough to hold my interest anyway.
  6. Glad to hear things went well.
  7. I agree, it was a boring episode, but by far not the worst we've seen. I really like the stories of the survivors now that the group has split up. I hear of talk of people who are disappointed after the fall of the prison, but I like it. It's kind of a throw back to the really early days, not that those shows were very good, but I like the loneliness of the small groups. Loved the 3 walkers hanging from the ceiling.
  8. Never knew there ever was a comparison of the two.
  9. I'd watched some game play on youtube a little while ago and the game looks really cool with a scenario I really like, but I looks like it would require a lot of time and cooperation with other players who have a lot of time which can be a real challenge. Looks really cool though.
  10. I just checked out all of the songs (although not completely) for that show and the sound isn't bad at all, quite good. Geddy sounded really good (he was 30 years younger). What was really nice though is that the crowd obviously knew almost every song (ahhh...the good olde days) 'cuz when each song started they all gave out big cheers. Nice posting, thanks.
  11. I figure if something like that existed, somebody, at some time, here or on another board would have found it and maybe not shared it, but it would at the very least be known of. I saw it doesn't exist....But what do I know.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3bB2IkBHiE That's great!!!!
  13. I almost listed that one! Can't say I remember too many songs on the album, but I know I spent hours staring at the cover as a kid! (Listening to it now. Coming right back to me...The title track is theme to the Dating Game, yes?) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFgKIz1SrlI Yes, it is The Dating Game theme...But I had to look it up 'cuz I had no memories of the songs...just that album cover.
  14. He's good...but he's no L'il Weezy.
  15. I suppose many of these could be counted as my "Trapped on a deserted island records" but not all, and as the title says, albums that changed my life...so here goes and some for no particular reason, but they had a significant impact somehow. Queen - A Night At The Opera...Used to sneak it out of my older sisters record collection to listen to Bohemian Rhapsody (a song I loath now) but it was the first rock record I ever knew. Saturday Night Fever...Such a huge record in its day it was the first time I really appreciated the productions of the music. Star Wars...Besides being a complete SW nerd, the music was fantastic and was the first time I really learned to appreciate symphonic music. AC/DC - Back In Black...One of the first Rock Records I ever owned. The Doors - The Doors Greatest Hits...The first record I knew note for note. 2112...My first RUSH record. Pink Floyd - The Wall...Gotta love it. The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream...Prol'y burned up 5 copies of that CD. Vince Guaraldi Trio - A Charlie Brown Christmas...Could listen to this forever. Marillion - Misplaced Childhood...A really important record in my life when it came out. Herb Alperts Tijuana Brass - Whipped Cream and Other Delights... Prol'y why I prefer brunettes. Signals... The one that reached out a grabbed that nerve that forms what records like that do, when you are a teenager.
  16. I happen to love Signals, it's probably my second fave RUSH album behind E...SL. But I think the reviewer is right on in his descriptions. Taking out all of the disparaging words, he's dead accurate. If you can just eliminate them from the review it's not half bad. He just happens to have been like many, many fans at the time who didn't like the drastic change to such a heavily keyboard laden record.
  17. The only reason nobody is talking about is that nobody other than us has seen it, 'cuz if anybody had seen it they would be talking about it. This is gonna be one of those shows that everyone is going to scramble to once the first season is long over and the accolades for Harrelson and McConaughey start pouring in like Niagra Falls on steroids. It probably won't be until June or July that people are going to realize they missed something great 'cuz True Detective is gonna clean house at the Emmy's this year. I love this show and am really bummed that there are only two episodes left, but at the same time realize that if it went longer it would eventually suck...like Lost, and American Boring Story. I don't know what the future plans are for the show and don't really care, 'cuz there is never gonna be another season like this even if it runs for 20 years. I feel we are getting a real gem here, the kind that only comes around once and we are the lucky few who get to enjoy it, now. And a few months from now when others start asking," Have you seen that show True Detective? You know the one Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey won all those awards for." We can say yes we have and that they are really, really late for the party....suckers. Can't wait to see what happens, but don't want it to end.
  18. Really like these shows after the prison BS.
  19. That is some really good work. Sums it up pretty well. I don't agree with it all but when it's all said and done I'd agree with most of it. :haz:
  20. Because there would be more people in line to go to the restrooms than there would be seated in the theater.
  21. Could not even tell you the decade I last listened to ASOH.
