  1. Beautiful! I'm bound to have pics somewhere of a couple pieces I've made. In storage I have several tool boxes full of supplies (though I will replace all my beading tools ASAP. they're all just.....dull and broken after much use). I have hundreds of pieces made, as well. I made quite a bit of money in high school selling it, which took me totally by surprise. People were buying the jewelry I was wearing off of me. It happened so often I ended up wearing nothing but my own jewelry to school. I do plan on having a little home business someday. I use beads of all kinds, and much prefer hemp over anything else :) http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e337/hobo73/HPIM0134.jpg http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e337/hobo73/HPIM0158.jpg
  2. A man who has never made me laugh....meh.
  3. HEY SEXY MAN!!! hahahahahahhaa I LOVE it!!
  4. Still no replies.....psssst. Next time, don't label me with negative sexual slang. K? K. Cause that's a nasty line to cross.
  5. I always tell my husband I'll be changing his diapers right along with our grandkids' diapers lmao
  6. You would love the song about motion. Hussy :D And don't you wish I were using my hussy skills daily on you rather than my (rather lucky) husband :D
  7. I've been to 15 shows, but 8 were CT so I will have a shortened list. (and yes, their shows have had huge impact on me.) Eric Clapton Crossroads Guitar Festival My first time in an audience full of hippies, and it was so awesome. So the atmosphere alone was something magical. I saw some remarkable acts that day and thoroughly enjoyed myself. :) Doyle Bramhall II was actually the one whose performance hit me like a ton of bricks. I'd never heard of him before then, but I was an instant fan. Robert Cray was godlike, as usual. BB King too! Fantastic show. I only wish I coulda stayed for the entire day. *grumble grumble* Alice Cooper It's weird, I always knew I'd see Alice love someday. Overall I had a shitty day that day, which is saying something if even a KICKASS Alice Cooper show couldn't save it! lol My dad's friend took me, dad and my brother as a christmas present. The show started with 2 Alices fighting onstage to the "death", and soon after he stabbed a baby doll with a sword. Any concert that starts that way HAS to be grand. And it was. Styx Styx gets a lot of hate, but I love 'em! My grandma picked me up from high school one day and said "don't make plans this Friday- you're seeing Styx with me." She took myself and my brother! The show was over 2 hours long and just blew me away. Rocked my face OFF.
  8. Over The Wall by Testament!! Heard it today and it has wormed its way into my brain =D The entire The Legacy album is already on my itunes now. A fantastic addition to my music library!
  9. Lucy didn't completely flip out at the "maze game" trick (that's my brother tricking her lol) but her reaction was still funny. http://youtu.be/3l_G7YrIllo
  10. YAY!!!!!!! =D Yesterday I was able to do something I NEVER thought I could do- outside, Lucy was running up and down the sidewalk. I ran the entire length of the sidewalk right by her side, keeping pace and I DIDN'T LOSE MY BREATH. My heart wasn't exploding, and I was able to do it. I've always been jealous of anyone who can not only run in public without being embarrassed, but can actually run distances without struggling to breathe. My legs are getting so firm, I was able to try on a pair of shorts that stop way above the knee, and I looked great in them. First time that has EVER happened. Between quitting smoking and eating better, I love the progress I've made! =D
  11. I would ABSOLUTELY go up and start a conversation with them lmao HOW CAN I NOT?!
  12. Het, just caught the Guitar Sessions Cheap Trick episode. Pretty solid interview with Rick and Tom. And Robin can still belt it out! AGH I missed it lol thanks for reminding me to watch it online! hahaha oh man. Robin sounds amazing. One of the rare breeds of rock singers who can still belt it out in his 60s :) OMG so yesterday, Lucy told me to listen to her sing and SHE SANG THE FIRST VERSE OF CARAVAN.
  13. HAHAHAHAHA OMG that is HILARIOUS. and reminds me of a time in middle school when my friend laughed and said "some boy threatened to knee me in the crotch. Luckily for us girls, his knee would just sink in!!!" .....I was speechless for a second before saying "Uh.....sink in? Not with me.....???" She got this worried look on her face and told me one time, a guy's knee "totally sunk in....." UM.......EW. She was a great friend, I just will NEVER forget that comment. 0_o
  14. What are some of the worst nightmares you remember having? Also, can you more often than not wake yourself up if a dream is too scary? (I usually cannot, even when I can control everything that happens in that nightmare.) The dream thread got me thinking, and last night chatting with my buddy pal Cy, I told him of a couple I had as a kid. When I tell people of these 2 specific dreams, they either can't believe it, tell me I'm f*cked up or stare at me with the mouth open lol. Keep in mind, I was extremely little when I had these nightmares. My mom was hellbent on showing me terrifying movies since I was a toddler, so I'm not surprised I had them :P **** I had a dream that I was in the bathtub and little bits of plaster started falling from the ceiling into the bath water. I looked up to see the ceiling give way to a rotting corpse that was, apparently, hidden in the attic. THE DEAD BODY LANDED ON ME IN THE TUB. I'm 23 and to this day, I keep my eye on the ceiling above me as I bathe!!! Not even lying lmao. **** I was in a dimly lit bathroom and noticed the bathtub (yes, the tub again) was filled with water. I leaned over to look and Regan from the Exorcist was at the very bottom of the tub, under the water with her eyes closed. Her eyes popped open underwater and she jumped up, literally flying at me! I ran down one of those never-ending hallways and she was floating/running after me, screaming at the top of her lungs and her head was spinning 0_o .....I remember waking up screaming after that one!
  15. One time as a kid, I had a dream where I was sleeping on my couch. omg....a giant Pokemon character broke into my house and I woke up, frantically throwing the couch pillows over me to "hide" (it was a terrible hiding spot, if I'm being totally honest!). The Pokemon saw me & started gnawing on my leg, then I woke up. My point is, sometimes dreams HAVE no meaning lol if that ^^^ had one, I don't know what it is!
  16. I just wanna say, it makes me EXTREMELY happy to see so much Zappa popping up in here.
  17. HA! Camel toe. The result of many a tight pant.
  18. Seeing as how Pearl Jam sucks ass, Rush should totally win. lol.
  19. EEEE have fun!!!! Lucky!!!! :P well it has been confirmed, we ARE taking Lucy to the Cheap Trick show for her birthday. We even rescheduled her birthday party lmao. This is the year of the concert for sure hahahaha.
  20. Lucy and I spent the entire day out and about! We took the bus downtown, had lunch together, and went to the park. It was the greatest day I've had in a very long time. It was a great mama/daughter day! I love my little monster so much. I may have screwed up along the way in life, but I musta done something right to deserve her.
  21. SAME!!!!! I love old Paramore stuff. Their new stuff is so underwhelming and blah. >:/
