  1. Neil says Geddy is the most thoughtful gift-giver he knows. He once gave Neil a first-edition copy of a book he really likes. I interpret this to mean that Neil really appreciates his friends. He sounds like a loyal friend too. So, please don't use this thread to bash him. He doesn't deserve that.
  2. Good one, Nobody's Heroine! I didn't think anyone would get it yet. Neil has so many truthful sayings in his lyrics. That is one of the best, I think. I guess it's your turn to start.
  3. Neil said in one of his books that they wanted to do AFTK on the R30 tour, but Geddy couldn't sing it, so we will never hear that one. I think Kid Gloves and Jacob's Ladder are still possibilities. I would love to hear both of those. As for Cinderella Man, I have another reason why I think we will never hear it played live: The line "this manic depressive who walks in the rain." The term "manic depressive" is not considered correct anymore. I can't see them changing the line to this "bi-polar..." Just my thoughts, though.

  8. QUOTE (danielmclark @ Oct 8 2011, 07:50 AM) QUOTE (fordgt99 @ Oct 8 2011, 06:14 AM) QUOTE (Tommy Sawyer @ Oct 6 2011, 10:48 PM) Honestly, I'd rather hear Presto than JL. Just my 0.02 I didn't get all the hype about JL either. It's a good song but not a GREAT song. Because some fans just have to bitch about something and since we were getting The Camera Eye after years of asking for it, they had to go to their backup plan: demanding Jacob's Ladder. No, I have to respectfully disagree. Many of us were clamouring for Jacob's Ladder long before we knew Camera Eye was going to be played. I've been hoping for JL ever since the S & A tour.

  10. I'm new at this game, and not sure of the rules. Do I start the next round?
  11. Yes, it's easier now! It's Tai Shan The clouds were suddenly parted For a moment I could see The patterns of the landscape Reaching to the eastern sea
  12. I disagree with Neil about Presto being a better fit. The fans love Jacob's Ladder song so much, they could have made it fit anywhere. But then, it's not up to us, is it? I'll continue to hope they'll play it next time.
