  1. I thought it was funny when it first came out. "Falling in love is dangerous business..." The songwriting cracked me up. That “Ai yi yi hutzpah ya!” scene cracks me up. :rfl:
  2. Seen the Eddie Murphy movie but not the 75 one. Seen the Cinema Snob review, though. Lot of boom mics. Far from perfect but not as terrible as it’s reputation has been. Easily better than that other infamous Columbia 87 flop with the Jello pudding pervert jerk.
  3. Watching reviews of bad movies on the Cinematic Excrement Youtube channel. Wouldn’t be surprised if the likes Rush since he has posters of Maiden, Sabbath and Dream Theater in the background. He’s also a big MSTie like I am. It’s currently playing that pointless board game movie, Battleship.
  4. Battery Ktulu As for songs that rock non stop, I’m all about going BACK TO THE FRONT! :haz:
  5. Punk? There is nothing punk about that album. There's something crap about it though, from top to bottom, IT f***ing SUCKS! Well, sucking and punk rock go hand in hand together so I can see why you think it sounded like that. Maybe you haven't heard the right kind of punk. How about some Propagandhi. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqWsreZl_dw&list=PLcZMZxR9uxC98izRhq-RDindXuU4WhjBB&index=7&ab_channel=EpitaphRecords That song had a more metal style riff than a punk one. Still, it's an ordinary, unspectacular song like most of the genre. The only punk band I ever liked is The Offspring. They're punk but at least they have a standout sound. PUP is another Canadian punk band worth checking out. They’re a breath of fresh air compared to those Radio Disney posers in Fallout Boy and EDM faux rock bands like Maroon and Imagine Dragons. I feel about FOB the way Elvis Costello feels about Morrissey. Great song titles, bad songs.
  6. Nothing against Isla, but if I had my way, it would be her sister in the movie. ...Who turns 41 tomorrow btw. That Canuck fox never ages. Schwing!
  7. Stumbled upon this on Youtube and had fun riffing the hell out of these cheesy TV themes.
  8. Xanadu The cheesy animated sequence is playing now. I can see why it has a camp cult following.
  9. Agreed and anyone notice that it’s one of two 2015 music biopic movies Giamatti was in but also where he played someone who betrays the main subject?
  10. Watching a 3 hour chore of a movie on Showtime, Meet Joe Black. No wonder Brad Pitt has admitted it’s not one of his better movies.
  11. Was it funny? It looked like it had potential. Decent enough for a rental but not theaters where it flopped. I saw the plot twist coming a mile away, though.
  12. George had a stockpile of good to great songs. Two novelty songs on Abbey Road was a misstep. I love Maxwell's Silver Hammer! And Octopus' Garden! But it's not like you're wrong about George. Steve Martin does a good cover in that Sgt Pepper movie. Bad movie, good soundtrack.
  13. My state voted against it last year. We’ll see where it goes from there.
  14. before they recorded this john was into the beach boys. It really shows on this track. Tear from the same album is further proof of this. Nice trumpet solo by Flea as well. RIP TP and Howie.
