  1. Absolutely. Considering they were all about 5 when they started, they were a great band. Infinitely better than Bad Company in my opinion.... Andy Fraser is a fantastic bass player. The bass on Mr Big is amazing.
  2. Just seen this and wow! Glad you had an amazing time, and what an incredible thing to happen!!
  3. Will be going to see them at High Voltage for sure. Most of the year seems taken up with Ian doing a solo tour and everything so not expecting any more UK shows. Do NOT want to miss this.
  4. QUOTE (Huge Ackman @ Jun 8 2011, 02:12 AM) http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z33/bfwgjma/2010%20Red%20Rocks%202%20Archives/RushatRedRocks2010396.jpg Because duct tape and rock and roll just go together! Looking good Neil!
  5. Nice! Got 2 more gigs planned for this year with more to come I expect. Nearly into double figures for me now. 4500 Times is a monster live although not usually going into 15 minutes like it used too!
  6. Oh and if anyone's interested you can dowload the new song from the album of the same name: Siren's Song FREE HERE Saw them yesterday supporting Thin Lizzy and seriously they get better and better.
  7. Based on this year's prices, if they played High Voltage it'd be quite a lot cheaper than what I paid for all my shows this year! HV would be the only festival I think I could logistically do, so let's hope!
  8. I had a great time and the band were the best I've seen them so far. Plus the 02 was near as dammit full so I'm sure they'll come back. They seemed to be enjoying themselves onstage anyway, which is so nice to see!
  9. I'm just jealous From what I've heard its more geared toward a photo op and you can see examples of these in some peoples signatures on here. Never been lucky enough myself, so enjoy it!
  10. QUOTE (A long awaited friend @ May 24 2011, 12:29 AM) That was me! Glad you enjoyed yourself. We'll have to see about getting you a seat with a better view during their next tour. Birmingham sounded pretty good and the arena was pretty much filled. They have done quite a bit of work at the arena since I was last over for the S+A tour in 2007. Hi! Brum looks like it'll be my closest seated gig so I'm pinning all hope of actually seeing them on Frankfurt!
  11. Just got back and despite not being able to see much (short arse + no screens) very often, I had a blast! Thought the crowd where I was were a lot more into it than at Manchester and overall I think it was a better show. Spoke to a lovely guy next to me during the interval from Northern Ireland who mentioned being on some Rush forums so if you see this! Had a really great time, thought Marathon in particular was amazing.
  12. Thanks guys! He seemed to be having a whale of a time in Manchester, they all did really. Alex and Geddy got the giggles big time during 2112 and I have no idea why! When they all lock in though with Geddy and Alex facing Neil, they all look so happy!
  13. QUOTE (logo5961 @ May 20 2011, 09:03 PM) very enjoyable show. the time seemed to fly by. audience seemed well up for it and the band seemed to be really enjoying themselves. No issues with the sound where i was in block b anybody know what happened to the guy taken out by the medics on a stretcher during the interval About to ask that. He was sat behind me. Hope he's ok.
