Lucas
Morley Safer was a legend, and his work in Vietnam was groundbreaking What does it say about us that people who are considered defective are instinctively caring and compassionate? RIP
invisible airwave
We need more like him and less of these biased assclowns on Fox,MSNBC,CNN et al. Makes you wonder why Spotlight was a huge hit. People miss real journalism instead of soapboxy BS. RIP

Blue J
People miss real journalism instead of soapboxy BS. Not enough people miss it. We're severely outnumbered. :codger: This is true. Too many people are interested in controversy, I think- even when it's completely manufactured. There is still quality TV journalism going on, but it's on a half-hour block of time on the national evening news (ABC/NBC/CBS), and that's it. Back when those programs were the main (or only) source of that kind of content, the people who reported it were highly esteemed. I really hope that breed of journalism doesn't die altogether. RIP Morley Safer
