Slime
Remember that ports and remakes DON'T count. Fighting games only count as ONE win instead of say one for each of eight characters. I would estimate that I've beaten about 35 games in my whole life, in all genres and eras. The first game I ever beat was probably Link to The Past or Final Fantasy II (American edition - FF IV in Japan).

Rush!
Damn Slime, that's impressive. I play video games sometimes but I don't play for the sole purpose of beating the game. In fact, I rarely play any newer games, I stick with the original PlayStation games. I've only beaten 2 games really: Spyro The Dragon & No One Can Stop Mr. Domino. Slime
I just beat Final Fantasy X. I've had more challenge in tic tac toe. Now onto Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy V. I'll beat VIII someday if I can find a way to bs through it. I still hate the levelling up system. I live to beat games, since my favourite thing about any game is the story. I'm not too fond of these modern games with eight years of extra bosses and items to obtain. I only go after these if it makes the real end boss that much easier. I did that in FFX a bit, plus I levelled up like crazy. WAY too easy to beat Sin. It is a shame when the final form of the final boss falls for silly tricks I was using ten years ago! FFX had a great ending though, so it was worth it.
Slime
Just figured out a couple more I've beaten. For PC... One Must Fall 2097 Jazz Jackrabbit 2 - both characters Tie Fighter - with invulnerability option (not code) so it is still legit Fallout 2 - now working on a no armour/pacifist run Civilization I Civilization II And a Genesis game Golden Axe - WAY back when with a friend of mine - some BS ending about how violence and war both suck Yet another SNES title Turtles IV - Turtles in Time - best sidescrolling beatup game there is NES Donkey Kong - though it is pretty short Guerilla War - infinite continues make this an easy task edit: Killer Instinct for SNES and Arcade - Combo is my main man here. Beat Eyedol on max difficulty

Slime
I was never able to beat GTA3 because the city was just too confusing to navigate. Stormtron
Wow, I have no idea how many I've beaten...I started playing games on Atari 2600 and 7800 so it's been a long time. I'm going to go ahead and say hundreds. too many NES games to count (beating Mike Tyson in Punch-Out remains my higest moment) every Mario every Zelda every Final Fantasy every Metroid every Sonic game (I'm not counting bullshit like Sonic Spinball) a ton of Squaresoft/Square Enix games (Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, etc.) every Metal Gear game except Snake's Revenge every Castlevania (even the Japanese ones on an emulator) more than a few arcade games back in the early 90s every old Lucas Arts and Sierra adventure game every GTA including the old 2-D games every FPS i can remember playing (Wolfenstein 3-D, Spear of Destiny, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Rise of the Triad, Doom 1-3, Halo 1&2, Half-Life 1&2, Duke Nukem, Blood, Quake 1&2, etc... way too many) every major PS2, Gamecube, Xbox, and DS game. I don't have a PSP and don't plan on getting one. the 4 Wii games I have (Zelda, Red Steel, Excite Truck, and Trauma Center) Thinking about this makes me realize how much time I've wasted over the years. Now I'm bummed out. Thanks guys.
Slime
add another to the pile NFL Blitz 99 (arcade) - beat all 30 teams. One dollar per game is actually a good deal considering you get 8 minutes of game.
bardan
I voted in the 30-40 range but I can't say for sure. Doesn't anyone play the Resident Evil games? I recently played RE4 and thought it was one of the best games I've played. BTW, are any of the later Tomb Raider games good. I played the first 2 years ago and loved them. Slime
add one to the pile Legend of Zelda (NES) - first quest beaten Ganon fight was pretty intense the first two times. The third time out I lucked out quite a bit and killed him without too much damage Second Quest will have to wait though!

Do you have to cry about it when I do it? Chill out Slime. I have five kids that play video games. I obviously don't really hate them. I just think it's funny to BASH on them, as I totally don't "get" the joy of sitting like a lump in front of my tv for HOURS on end, when there are better things to do, like music and WOMEN. :sniff: I feel so terrible now for making fun of everything. Please extend my apologies to Star Wars geeks, Lord of the Rings geeks, Harry Potter geeks, American Idol geeks, LIBERAL geeks, and any other realm of geekdom I may have insulted with my benign attempts at humor. :sniff: That was my official apology. Did it come off sincere enough? Here's my off the record apology....

Just TRY to go to a game forum, they're the most stuck up little shits on the planet. There's none of that elitist attitude here, which is why I like this place. There's some cool people that play games though...my wife is one of them. She can stomp me in Marvel VS. Capcom 2. Her Magneto game is crazy. /nerd
