With Disney’s acquisition of several Fox properties last week, it means the Fantastic Four and the X-Men will be coming home to the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Finally! Thank the gods!

Of course, we’ll still be getting the upcoming (almost certainly bullshit) Fox X-Men films like Dark Phoenix that have already been made or are in production. But, in the not too distant future, Wolverine should be high fiving Captain America and the Thing and Hulk will be trading punches.

How’s this for a possibility?...

I'll get this question in to start things off because if I ask it somewhere in the middle of the thread, there might be crickets

But does anyone else like The Heroic Trio ??

I love that movie, and sadly, actress/singer Anita Mui passed away at the age of 40 ... she was a total fox too

And though I’m a 100% Marvel guy, here’s my favorite single storyline of all time:

The FF probably won’t arrive until 2020 or soon after. I guess it’s possible that a brief post-credits scene with a FF reference can be added to Avengers 4 later though.

I imagine the X-Men will arrive a little after that.

The artist Timothy Hildebrandt lived on the same road as I did back before he passed away .. I remember delivering his newspaper !!

Anyways, this goes back a long way, and the time, my friend Mike was trying to start a cleaning business ... He had some flyers made up ( well before the days of the internet ) and I put these flyers in the papers I was delivering ..

Mary Hildebrandt called Mike and he ended up going to their home - he worked for them for more than 10 years if I remember correctly, and all of Tim's original painting were in his house ... Mike saw the original Star Wars paintings that became the posters ..

One of Mike's favorite stories was when Mary Hildebrandt performed Reiki on him .. Mike had not eaten lunch or dinner, and by evening, he was so hungry he felt lightheaded .. While Tim was getting him something ready to eat, Mary did some Reiki on him ..

He liked them a lot

But anyways, the Hildebrandt Bros have done a lot of great artwork

I suppose you’re right.  My next question is now, are they willing to make yet another Fantastic 4 trainwreck?

Those are the numbskulls at Fox’s fault who didn’t and don’t seem to know what’s right for comic characters. Especially the Fantsstic Four characters. Sony f***ed up Spidey with Spidey 3 then with that reboot and Andrew whatever as Peter Parker. BUT the MCU came in with a nobody as Peter Parker, had Iron Man as a mentor, and BOOM Spidey came back better than ever.

I believe the MCU can make a good Fantastic Four film.

I don't give a rat's ass about any "superhero" but the Deadpool movie was freaking hilarious and I'm really looking forward to the second one.
