I was at the show (drove down from Oakland - I am a Pitt student and must've been the youngest there by at least 20 years). I wasn't sure what to expect, but you guys absolutely blew me away.

I told all my Rush-loving friends about you and will bring them along next time you play. Please keep me informed. As long as I don't have an early class the next day, I will be there for sure.

Great job!

so how did it go? confused13.gif yes.gif

It was a great show. We rocked the house and I think we changed quite a few skeptics minds that might have thought we couldn't pull playing Rush music.

We are back in the "studio" to learn more songs common001.gif

My wife used our digital camera and took video of most of the songs. I need to get them uploaded to my computer and edit them so I can post them on youtube. I will try to get them posted in the next few days.

I am not sure how well the video will be, as it was dark in the room we played in (except for lights on stage) and the audio will probably not be that great either.

Don't you think the element of surprise makes the concert better?

Just sayin...

Have a great show! I'll tell my buddy who lives out in pitts. He's a big fan, too...

Thanks for the positive comments.

Fear trilogy? Maybe someday, cause Witch Hunt is on the radar.

I am a big fan of the 80's and 90's stuff, cause I play the keyboards and that was their strongest era for synthesizers.

Digital man is on the radar as well. And like all our versions, they are replicated just like the original recordings 1022.gif

You should invest in a digital audio recorder like a Zoom H2 or something if you are going to post videos of your shows (or better yet mic everything and record it through the board). The camcorder mics are just so painful to listen too for indoor recording with bass attack overwhemling all the mids.

As far as setlist go, go with what your singer can pull off the best.

Not every Rush song is in everyone's range.

Good Luck!
