ILSnwdog
1978http://www.corvettecenterusa.com/images/csd78/csd7814.JPGMy Dad put a fuel shut off valve on one identical to this one. He took me on the test drive. It was a lot of fun. It was the first time I had ever been in a Corvette. :)

Budget, or do you like the pop out window that was introduced in 78?

ILSnwdog
1978http://www.corvettecenterusa.com/images/csd78/csd7814.JPGThat's a beast of a Corvette! Not really. The Corvettes from 1975 - 1985 were pretty tame. You could expect 0-60 times in the mid 7 seconds and a 15 second quarter mile from the top of the line Vettes during that era. All the new government regulations that were put in place in the 70s killed performance during that era. But they certainly looked cool. :)
