Losing It could be depressing because of the lyrics.   Cut to the Chase could be depressing because of how it shows how the band had lost it.   Go with the better song, Losing It...

Cut to the Chase. I honestly can't imagine a bigger buzzkill in a live setting than watching three old guys sing about how depressing it is to be old, in front of a pretty old crowd

I've said this at least a hundred times thus far..

 

If they didn't play Losing It when they had the chance with a string section at their beck and call they certainly won't play it now.

As much as I would love to hear it I have to agree with this.
