I knew what you had posted even before opening the link. Yeah, that early 80s "elf" fashion was simply... out there. No wonder they changed to ties and jackets to get the girls.

Point is, it's somehow making a comeback...

 

 

Now that I think about it, Spandau was strictly a "girls" band in Italy. Durans were also getting a lot of girls but also boys, due to their "Wild boys" crap and all. How was here in America?

I don't know. I was in Germany :D . They made a small impact here. Depeche Mode was the main band here from that scene.
