I kinda see Caress of Steel like I do Rush in general. Great album, but not for everybody. I love the album but there's pretty much only one Rush album I can't stand at all(Hold Your Fire) Edited by Zeppster

CoS was my first Rush STUDIO album..(I had it on 8-track!)

(ATWAS was my first Rush ALBUM)

But CoS to me is MUCH better than 2112, I think there's more intense music (and it's recorded better IMHO) and the only sleeper was ITIGB..whereas Lessons and Tears are pretty much sleepers from my pespective.

Very similar to my story.... :) Disagree entirely however with your take on Lessons. It is still one of my favorite songs Rush ever recorded on a great album side BTW in my opinion....

Wow. I really can't believe so many of you like this album. Sorry, but apart from Bastille Day, I can't stand it. Seriously, though, I'm glad it does something for most of you.

I'm actually listening to it right now (I listen to all their albums from time to time).

Now Playing - The Necromancer.

Spinal Tap would be proud.
