Nobody's going to admire Nate's new PC? :eh:

I will.

Beauty Nate! :) Toshiba makes a great unit (still the titanium frame?) - we have a Toshiba laptop, and aside from the power jack being a little delicate, it is a great machine at a great price.

ETA: 1T of RAM! :o My first PC had 384K and it was considered high end.

It's 1TB of hard drive storage and 12GB of RAM.

Its a nice laptop. And it seems he got it at a good price as well.

Can't speak for Toshiba quality today, but my dad's got one from 2007 and it's a solid laptop. Not sure what you're going to do with an i7 processor when the GPU is an intel HD but the rest of the specs are great for school/work.

Well that certainly makes more sense. 1TB of memory is rather large for a PC (the mainframe I work on has about 24GB of CSTOR).

It makes more sense than 1T of RAM and a 12 GB hard drive - load Windows and nothing else! :madra:

Can you load Windows on a 12GB hard drive these days?

I want to say you could do it up through XP but since then I would say no. I just looked and the Windows folder alone on my windows 8 machine is 12.3 GB.
