RUSHHEAD666 Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 I'm tripping right now at almost 1:30 am.I just watched the dark comedy film "Ted." The movie with the talking bear.Well there was a Ravi Shankar reference in the film. I just found out minutes after watching the movie that Ravi has passed away! Strange. Anyway Ravi was a Legend. Dave Brubeck and now Ravi Shankar. It sucks getting old. At least their music will live on until the end of time!

rushgoober Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Wow, I hadn't heard about this before just now stumbling on this thread. :( All I can say is one of the great legendary musicians of the world has passed. Not only was he immensely talented and hugely influential, but a man of class and integrity. I've loved every recording I've heard of his, and need to get more. RIP Ravi - heaven will be enriched by your presence GREATNESS: http://www.dailymoti...-pop-1967_music 1
