Looking forward to hear this new releases. 1022.gif

I liked all Rhino releases made in the late 90's with the exception of Brain Salad Surgery, Joseph Palmaccio commited a crime and should not remaster anything after that. Believe me check the vinyl release and compare with that atrocity 062802puke_prv.gif

Got the debut and Tarkus. I'm pumped to finally get ELP done right on CD. Disc one is the original album remastered with the original stereo mix. They used to go nuts with stereo and its all there like it was on the original vinyl. The second discs have a more modern 2012 stereo mix and bonus tracks. Steve Wilson is very good at this sort of thing. Man, I wish he had remastered the Rush Sector box sets.

I'm going to have to wait until the weekend to give the surround sound mixes a good listen. Should be fun.

sad thing is, love beach isn't even their worst album

but yeah I won't be picking these up because I got all their old shit on vinyl anyway (except works, don't really need those) and I like the sound just fine

I may be in the minority here, but I quite like the "Emerson, Lake, Powell" album from 1986.

However, "Trilogy" is my most favourite.
