Yuck

Just discovered this band. They have a great sound, highly reminiscent of early 90's alternative/shoegazy type stuff. I can't overlook their tendency to "borrow" a lot of motifs from The Smashing Pumpkins, but since TSP are probably my favorite band, I can't get too upset.

Hey, they're pretty good! I mean, they're no Slowdive or anything, but very nice! I love the guitars more than anything. GREAT guitars.

 

Other than that, they managed to actually come up with a worse band name than Garbage, and that takes some doing... unsure.gif

Hey! Had no idea there was a Yuck thread here. I've been following them for a couple months now. I enjoy their sound! As aforementioned, they are no Slowdive, but then again, who is, 'cept for Slowie themselves? wink.gif
