  1. Lately, I've been into bands like shels RE-EDIT: and Gifts From Enola. They've definitely got an indie sound, but I've heard them called post-rock. As far as I can tell, post-anything (post-metal, punk, rock, ect.) just means indie with a LOT of instrumental. There's an asthetic at work, but I can't put my finger on it. Can anyone shed some light for me?
  2. Cupcake to my Pinkie Pie (creepily sexual, sorry)
  3. lemme put it this way. I'm the Rarity to his Spike.

Tomorrow is the 2nd anniversary of his loss. http://i46.tinypic.com/2qxnud0.jpg Woah shit, a friend of mine sent that image to me on Favebook today. We'll be honoring Dio tomorrow by only listening to him. This isnt funny anymore. You gotta stop pretending you dont know me. My signature wont allow this.
  5. I had no idea Baroness was big enough to be known by anyone else here. So either they're bigger than i thought or you guys are ON THE BALL. Either way, I love this band and I dig this jam!
  6. Wanted to introduce/discuss this band I found. Heavy Water Experiments has a smooth, psychedelic sound. So far, I adore them. So sad they're not more popular. Anyway, here are some of their best songs in order of popularity. Lemme know whatchu guys think? You can't hurt my feelings.
  7. I watched that Paul Giamatti movie: The Hawk is Dying. Does that count?

  9. QUOTE (Unattractive Truth @ May 8 2012, 06:30 PM) Blackest Eyes - Porcupine Tree. Thie first song of theirs I ever heard. Turned into a fan for life. They are now my second favorite band, behind Rush (of course). Let's Go - The Cars. I was 13 when I heard this song on the radio. I hadn't heard anything from their debut. But I loved this so much that Candy-O became the first album I ever bought with my own money. Us and Them - Pink Floyd. My uncle loaned me Dark Side of the Moon, and I remember just being stunned by the awesomeness of this song. I've been a Pink Floyd fan ever since. Never cared much for The Cars, but Blackest Eyes and Us and Them are astounding songs. I Shut Doors and Windows by September Malevolence was a miserable truth for me. Bugs by O'Death pulled me out of a nasty hole. The Wreck Is Not A Boat by Sons of Noel and Adrian solidified me. The Bishop by Battle of Mice taught me how to love my hate.
  10. What a coincidence! I've been following Yuck for a few weeks now. Have you heard of The Wildlife?

  14. QUOTE (Ultra @ May 8 2012, 09:44 AM) Silversun Pickups for free tomorrow night. I'm jealous even though I'm seeing Iron Maiden and Alice Cooper in 6 flags.
  15. Hi, I'm Cameron. A friend recommended this forum, but the scumbag won't tell me what his username is on here. I have to figure it out. Speakin' of usernames, you can refer to me as PP if you're too lazy to type out Poiyple Platypus. I'm into prog like Rush, Tool and Porc. Tree. I'm also a metalhead and lately I'm into the blues. Wazuup?
