RUSH WITH AN ORCHESTRA

I'm not sure if this will actually happen, since you'd think we'd have heard about it by now with tickets on sale and all.

 

But the more I thought about this, the more I liked the idea. Just a small orchestra, a dozen or probably less players. Play with Rush for like the last half of the first half.. do CA, Losing It, Marathon, Manhattan Project, Nobody's Hero.. then intermission. Then RUSH return for a full 2nd half of just RUSH. I think this could be quite powerful. Geddy was quoted as wanting to do it and it's not like there's a ton of tours left, so I wouldn't be surprized if it happens in some form.

 

I don't understand fans saying they'd sell their tickets if this happens. Seems pretty silly since I'd be a once in a Rush lifetime experience. And, I don't really care that it's been done before. Many artists have played on a rooftop since The Beatles did it. Doesn't make it suck.
