RUSHHEAD666
Hey prog fans!! It's the annoying me again! Not only do I love the band Focus, but I also love Jan Akkerman's solo albums! The man is yet another underrated guitarist. Just pick up Jan's 1977 instrumental classic record!! Check out the album cover. All of you guitar addicts should just buy it for the cover. http://www.target.com/p/Jan-Akkerman/-/A-1...ci_sku=11869451 Oh and one of the greatest instrumentals next to YYZ is actually a tune called "Hocus Pocus" by Focus (I am sure most of you prog experts know this): This song kicks ass! CygnusX-1Bk2
Hocus Pocus is one of the greatest songs ever! I remember hearing it on the radio when a was a little kid and listening as closely as I could. Great guitar and drums. Great stuff. Not real familiar with the rest of their stuff. You go Earl! MMCXII
I used to love hocus pocus when I was a kid! My brother even had a bird that would go crazy and dance when we played it. I think there's a whistling part that the bird would "sing along" to Edited November 10, 2011 by MMCXII
