I watched 3 episodes yesterday to see what the rage is all about. I kinda like it, but I'm gonna have to watch more than 3 episodes to really get into it.

It's almost like they're trying to highlight her bad side, which disappoints me, considering that she's my favorite. She's been acting like an ass for most of the last two episodes, except for the endings. I want more Wonderbolts-focused stuff in Dash episodes - has she suddenly lost interest in them?

 

I will say that Hasbro needs to put out a Dash with sunglasses toy, I'd buy one in a heartbeat cool.gif

Especially in this one! I thought a lot of what she did was outside the domain of her character.

 

I'll be the first to say here that I wasn't a big fan of this episode overall.... Maybe I'm just having a hard time coping with the fact that it came immediately after one of my very favorites. laugh.gif

the other day my dad had turned on The Muppets on that Hub channel

AND I SAW DISCORD PONIES. (I believe it was some commercial for a Christmastime special.)

(Actually I think I pointed wildly at the TV and screamed, "Q!!!!!!" and then proceeded to enlighten my father of John de Lancie's most recent VA work.)

 

It was kind of funny because my dad was like, "Aren't you a little old for 'My Little Pony'?"

I said, "You're the one watching 'The Muppets'." tongue.gif

But I know my dad would never give me that hard a time, haha.

 

Anyways... I think any alleged highlighting of Dash's... shall we say... "less favourable" characteristics is inevitable. No matter what the target age group, if the writers endeavour to have well-fleshed-out characters in any respect those sorts of attributes will come to light eventually. In the end, though, she is one of the six primary protagonists and so I wouldn't be too worried. Besides, she seems to be a significant part of the overall plot... but maybe I'm just reading too much into it.

I really do want a Pinkie Pie episode though, all she's had is a few seconds here and there.
