apetersvt Posted August 18, 2011 Share Posted August 18, 2011 I discovered World of Tanks a few weeks ago and am addicted. Totally free game at worldoftanks.com. They make money by users buying gold with real money. Gold can be used to accelerate playing abilities and getting cool stuff you can't get with a free account. But, you definately don't need the gold to be succesful. BTW- I really suck but am getting better. Anyone else out there? I can use some pointers. SiriusRushFan Posted August 19, 2011 Share Posted August 19, 2011 Played this when it was still in beta last winter. Got all the way through the German tanks and got the Maus. That was all I could do at the time, unless I wanted to go through the Russian side, but I decided not to and stopped playing after that. Since then they have finally added the American tanks. Often in the evening if/when the kids are in bed. Around 10pm (Eastern). I also tend to play early Sat/Sun mornings before others are up (8am). Anyways, my username is apetersvt.
