RUSHHEAD666
I ordered about ten wasabi Kit Kat bars from Japan a month ago to give them a try. I wasn't overwhelmed but they are tasty. Anyone else on here have one?
Tarkus406
EEHHHHHYUCKK! GOD! that sounds like the grossest thing ever! I love mustard and the likes but wasabi makes the inside of my face hurt worst than a sinus infection!
Mara
Never heard of them. Is there chocolate involved? If those are made specifically to appeal to the Japanese palate, they must be unbelievably hot. I know the wasabi in the US doesn't hold a candle to the real Japanese stuff. RUSHHEAD666
QUOTE (Tarkus406 @ Mar 18 2011, 08:03 PM) EEHHHHHYUCKK! GOD! that sounds like the grossest thing ever! I love mustard and the likes but wasabi makes the inside of my face hurt worst than a sinus infection! Hey! How about a Chinese Mustard Panda Express Kit Kat? The Wasabi in these Kit Kats is very mild. Covered in a light green coating. No Mara! No chocolate involved! It's like a "Green" white candy bar. Very odd but worth a taste. It will not make your eyes tear nor your nose drip!
JohnnyBlaze
There are kinds of different flavored kit kats out here[don't know if they're available stateside]: wasabi, green tea, pineapple, orange, banana, cherry blossom. As with anything in Japan, these things are seasonal. The wasabi ones are not as bad as you might think but the regular ones are still better.
