Howdy.. old.gif The Mother Road is cool so much to do and see... I live just North of 66 in Colorado and travel it a lot from here to Calif..

The section between Ash Fork AZ and the Calif line is a MUST DO!!! 653.gif

Just East of Peach Springs is the Grand Canyon Caverns.. < MUST Stay there a day or two and see that, there is a hotel right there....

We can chat about it some time...

Route 66.. The Mother Road.. < Great Link to 66

Here is a shot I took in AZ outside of Kingman... on 66

While the Grand Canyon is off 66 a ways, and may sound like a tourist trap, it's still absolutely incredible - I wouldn't miss it. Plan for several days if you want to see both rims or hike down in the canyon. We didn't have a lot of time there, and I'd LOVE to go back!
