The Gorge was, indeed, quite the show. Neil wrote that it was one of those rare "magic shows." Well, I certainly thought so and it was cool that the guys agreed.

It's Alex most recent painting for, 'The Kidney Foundation of Canada's A Brush of Hope' project.

 

How beautiful is this piece? I have loved his last two pieces he painted. The colors in this are so vibrant. Just as with his previously donated piece, he does a landscape with a gorgeous sunset far in the distance. I love the deep yellow/orange he uses for the sunset and then the bright blue with the black and those sunflowers!? He is very, very talented. Quite gifted in the arts. I could stare at this for hours. This will surely bring in a hefty sum for the organization! Good job Al!

I saw that on John's Cygnus X-1 page. very impressive! Love the color contrasts - he really knows his color wheel. Do you know if that's watercolor or acrylics?

It's so beautiful! There's alot on there, would make the person look at it from many perspectives. (media student, programmed to think this way hahaha)
