Rommo
Seems a shame nobody wants to meet up. All the Rush fans in and around london and no meet up. All the other dates on the tour seem to have lots of fellow fans meeting. But not london, oh well I will just do my own thing then and turn up just before the door time. Scottishdood
Ok so just in from the London show and i have to RANT!!! Good people of London if you buy tickets to see Rush ever again in your life but have never heard the band, don't know one word of one song, get upset by genuine fans who want to sing and dance and enjoy then please please please get your tickets at the back of the hall where you can all sit and do nothing all night together! What a terrible audience you are! London you should be ashamed. From what can only be described as polite applause after certain songs to certain individuals in my row telling a guy who had come from Chile to see the band that he was in their space and all 3 of them having a go at him! Never ever again should Rush play London. The prawn sandwich brigade have taken over! Someone hit me if you ever see me mentioning going to another show in London! My predictions at the opening of this thread were so true!!! http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/angry.gif http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/angry.gif http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/angry.gif http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/angry.gif http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/angry.gif http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/angry.gif http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/angry.gif
TwentyOneTwelve
Knew a couple of folks in the 10th row and so went to talk to them during the interval (before trapesing back to my much worse seat in BLK B3!) and yeah by the sounds of things some people just stood there and DID NOTHING! I mean how can you be THAT close and presumably pay that much money to just stand there or talk throughout?!!! Totally agree with you SD, I was dancing around and singing my heart out but couldn't see much and was surrounded by some people doing nothing and then leaving early!! If I had been lucky enough to get front block seats I'd absolutely have been rocking out just like I was all that way back. What makes it even more unbelievable was I think that was possibly the best date for me this tour. They were unbelievably good last night! I had such a great time, just wish maybe some other people had done too! Ain't half paying for it today mind, I ache BIG time! http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

Hatchetaxe&saw
QUOTE (FoxxiStarr @ May 25 2011, 07:23 AM) Blimey its a bit quiet in here ... thought people would be well up for this by today! Yes it was.....thought the London contingent of TRF would have organised a meet-up point as we did in Glasgow, Dublin and Manchester. In fact, they should have, pub name, street and time, job done. No point in leaving it to non-natives......

Rommo
I was in A3 and the seat was in a betetr place then I thought, nearly right on the end of the row infront of geddy. Got talking to a couple of blokes next to me who had been to most of the UK gigs. I thogutht it was a suberb gig.I got to hear two tracks which I thought I would never hear live,Presto and The camera eye, amazing. The whole of moving pictures was perfect.Myself and the other two blokes where rocking out and most around me also. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/1022.gif But It does amaze me not jsut at this gig but gigs in general that whenever I am at a gig the people who have qued up longest to be at the front or have the best seats are always the ones who just stand there.they dont move, sing or do anything.Always amazes me that. whenever I get to the front I really go mad http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/1022.gif I took some pics on my Nokia N8 and they came out quite good for a mobile phone. As its a HD phone I thought I would risk some video. Glad I did as the quality for a small phone is amazing http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/653.gif I got Leave that thing alone and 2112 but how can I post them here?
