Met_Neil_In_91
QUOTE (Jomboni @ Jul 29 2010, 06:20 AM) These are small venues? The Camden show was the same venue they've played at every time they come around (in the summer at least) since the T4E tour. Actually, they played the Wachovia Center in South Philly on the S&A tour. It was in June, right before the official start of summer, but it was still hot. I'd rather see them inside. I like having air conditioning and the seating is better...more space and better viewing if you have seats on the sides.
Tom Sawyer
QUOTE (Phantom @ Jul 25 2010, 05:11 PM) QUOTE (shaun3701 @ Jul 25 2010, 06:47 PM) I hope they film this tour, unless they're going to repeat the whole Moving Pictures thing again next year. Having MP performed in its entirety is just too epic not to film. Exactly... I would pay anything to have " Camera Eye " from this tour, on DVD.... here's a appetizer! rush22112
QUOTE (Scars @ Jul 29 2010, 12:16 AM) The current tour consists of smaller venues while previous tours have been arena and stadium affairs. TD BankNorth Garden in Boston is far from a small venue
NaturalScientist75
They probably will release a DVD. They have done it for every tour since T4E. Usually record the last show in a large venue. The sure know we will buy it if they do. I think they use the last show so all those before it can be essentially practice. They do have video cameras at the shows, but those are usually just for the video they show on the screens. Not for a permanent recording. If they are doing a show for a DVD we should see cameras in the sky (usually movable so they can capture the band from all angles and the crowd). Definitely saw recording at the Camden show, but not anything in the air or that looked like it would be able to be used for a DVD. But you never know. A compilation would be great. Like the old live recordings. Best take from different venues. Either way, at least we have Youtube if all else fails. And the memories...

I just love the wildly unrealistic ideas that fans come up with! Uh...it's really not that far-fetched. Iron Maiden did it. So did Manowar and a bunch of other bands...Manowar, by the way, records EVERY concert they play. just in case one of them winds up being good? shaun3701
I hope it's a little more professionally shot than the Atlanta bootlegs on the S&A DVD. Were there obvious cameras at that show?

Can you guys imagine a Rush DVD with each song in a different venue, possibly with songs in South America and Europe as well, and scenes from the guys going from country to country, Neil with a camerea built into his helmet etc etc???
