Eagle Medallion

It's supposed to be an Eagle Premire, but I did a search on Medallion, and damn it if my picture didn't come up.

So, you're up sir.

Lancia Delta S4?

Correct.

For bonus marks: What kind of revolutionary engine setup did Lancia bring to the Rally Car world with this model?

Anyway. It was the first car to be Supercharged and Twin Turbo Charged. Thats right, you figure it out. It also varied depending on the course. Sometimes Super/Turbo. Sometimes Super/TT. Other times Twin Super/Twin Turbo.

That doesn't make any sense. I don't even know how you would accomplish that. How do you fit two blowers on the same engine?

ETA: I just did a little research, and the reason for the supercharger was to reduce turbo lag, but why not just go with a bigger supercharger and forget the turbos all together. Weird.

I dunno dude. But just by the fact that they figured it out is awesome engineering. At that time in the 80s everyone was like wacko.gif when Lancia brought it out. The Delta S4 took many first places. yes.gif
