Brooks
as i said in my 1st post here, my pals and i are huge fans, and we're working on a rush tribute band. there's plenty of youtube vids w/ amateurs interpretations of how to play some of their tunes. i've also seen exit stage left, R30, and parts of rush in rio... QUESTION: which DVD has the best close up shots of alex & geddy's hands? thanx
Rush Cocky
First of all, welcome! To answer your question: I would say Rush In Rio, mainly because there are songs on the DVD where you can choose to view the entire song from a particular camera (guitar, bass or drums). MMCXII
how about SnA live? I think they even intentionally focused on that sort of thing in that one.
Brooks
i looked at the songlist on rush in rio; the only tune i need some guidance on is freewill (the solo section), so i put it on my netflix list. i will add S&A live, too.
Merely Space
S&A Live has the best focus on their playing.
