Inthend
Pretty cool edgy show. Sort of in the vein of 2112. It's about control of the populous by fear and suspicion. 'Dreamers' are hunted down and sent to 'treatment'. The bible says in the 'last days' family members will turn each other in to the 'authorities'. Mara
I love this series, but haven't seen it in a long time, about 15 years. We rented the whole thing and spent a weekend watching it.
GeddysMullet
Loved the original, not hugely impressed with the remake.
Inthend
Thx, didn't realize it was a remake. Still a little lost in the plot. But I think I'm gonna stick with it.
lerxt1990
I cant bring myself to watch it. I dont want my memory of the brilliant Patrick McGoohan spoiled. Same reason I refuse to watch the new Taking of Pelham 1-2-3. Some stories were meant to be left alone

Sonatine
QUOTE (lerxt1990 @ Nov 17 2009, 06:19 AM) I cant bring myself to watch it. Some stories were meant to be left alone +1 Agree with you on both counts there. There's only ever one Prisoner and the original Pelham 123, was pretty damn awesome, especially Robert Shaw. Don't know if the remake is any good as I haven't seen it, doubt I ever will either. I am not a number: I'm a free Man hahahahahaha

InTheEnd, rent the original series.
nobodys hero
I missed the first episode and figured that was crucial to the plot so I haven't watched it at all.
Inthend
QUOTE (nobodys hero @ Nov 17 2009, 09:57 AM) I missed the first episode and figured that was crucial to the plot so I haven't watched it at all. Well I watched the whole thing, even some parts twice. All I can say is... "Don't take the purple acid." edit: Actually, that may help while watching this movie.
