Those are just the teams I'll root for every year. Decided that I needed a change of cheer, and thought that rooting for one team in each division would be nice. At that point there is no standard set for amount of games given for the offence. I am not agreeing with it as Cooke is a repeat offender but there is nothing laid down by the NHL for this infraction. Of course NOW this will be looked at. Oilers lose to Columbus without Nash. When Crosby hit the ice he later said he was really scared because he didn't know how bad the injury was, all he knows is that it really hurt. Good thing he was looked after and got back on the ice. If that had been worse it could have been a career ender. Malkin is still out on injury... fellow teamate Kris Letang shot the puck and Malkin ended up getting hit with it. His x-ray results showed nothing was broken... yet he's still day-to-day. This thing with Cooke... they should have just benched him out of respect for Savard because now the Pens have become a target for injuries... sakes.
