And I think that civilization has crept to a point where the beauty is cheap and the solid beauty of nature is lost. Sid wants to go over to the old Burman's place. It's one of those summer days when the sun is perfect and the heat is not too bad. Everything has a glazed look to it. ANd I wonder if it's real. The hum of bees and insects are background music in preparation for something spectacular. We lay on our backs on the edge of the ravine just drifting. Dweezil Posted March 6, 2005 Author Share Posted March 6, 2005 I put a beaded curtain up in the doorway to my kitchen. Only it's not "beads". It's these cool colored little discs that are irridescent right? Anyway, I like the way they reflect light and they make that neat tinkly sound. Our computer is in the kitchen/dining room, so you hafta go thru them to get to the computer right? Now I can't sneak up on my kids and scare the bejeezuz outta them. Unless they have headphones on.
