mazyyz Posted July 16, 2008 Share Posted July 16, 2008 Just rented this movie the other day. I thought it was OK, but as with most terror/horror films made now-a-days, it could have been much better. I wanted to get some feedback from those of you who have seen it. Needless to say it was a rather sick and demented film, but made me angry. If I was put in that position with my family by two prepy gays, I would have gone balistic....broken leg or not. I hated the times when the antagonist spoke in to the camera. Any thoughts? goose Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 Haven't seen this re-make, but saw the German original quite some time ago and thought it was pretty good. If the US version is anything like what the US re-make of the Vanishing was like, then it's probably not nearly as good as the Euro original...if you can endure subtitles. I thought it was a good movie..the director did a great job of trying to play games with you and piss you off..the movie was actually made to piss you off lol. I wouldnt say the movie was amazing or anything..but it is pretty good..i would recommend it to people to atleast watch it once..its pretty insane.
