Jack Aubrey
From Pierce Brosnan's official site I would like to thank all of you who have supported me over the last year or so in regard to my playing Bond. It was a decade of my life that I will always hold dear to my heart and a time that will never be forgotten. And you dear friends stood by me throughout. Many, many thanks! But everything comes to an end, and one must accept this decision which cannot be dealt with in any other way but with some kind of grace and knowledge that I did the job to the best of my ability. war2112
I'm sorry to hear this. I thought Brosnan was a very good Bond. IMHO, Sean Connery was the best, but I place Brosnan in second. I thought Roger Moore was too wimpy and Timothy Dalton too staid. Poor George Lazenby only got one shot, but that was enough from what I saw. Moonraker
A sad day, at least Brosnan is keeping his dignaty about the thing though.
Batman
He played a great Bond. I hope they go for an unknown actor this time around.
NeilPeartFan2112
He played a good Bond. It's always great to watch him in Goldeneye. I do have to agree with Batman and think they should go for someone unknown.
