It has to end. TBH, I bumped "Tom Sawyer" this summer by skipping to the last 3 seconds, then playing it again and doing the same thing. So, I kinda cheated there.

 

Yeah, it's kinda weird, because there are some songs that have gotten in this list before that I was shocked by (I.E. P!nk ), and some that were way back there (I.E. Xanadu) that I thought should be farther up. I is weird how that works!

 

I bet that if I compared my main list, or my home computer list, to the Top 25 of anyone at my school, the lists would be polar opposites, sans My Chemical Romance.

I don't have an ipod...and my music player doesn't keep track of how many times I listen to each song. I don't listen to much besides Rush, so if I had a list, I know what would be on it. All of it. From head to toe.

 

But I seem to have been listening to a lot of Counterparts lately. Don't know why.

I spend most of my time with the playlist on random. The iPod in the car has ~16000 tunes and "only" about 2000 are Rush so there are times I have to wait a half hour to hear Rush. Life is full of torture. I grew up listening to a huge range of tunes and that will never change. Hell, I even listen to a bit of country - well, make that folk blues.

I'll listen to probably anything but Top 40 Rap (I have respect for old-school hip-hop and rap), some kinds of jazz (depends), and teen pop. If it's country, rock, or anything else, I'll listen to it.

I know it's not wise to assume, but I will go ahead, and say that this is the last Top 25 to have "Hemispheres" in it, at least for a while. MyChem are probably going to get back on top of the pile, and have a majority of the songs in here. But I don't mind.

 

As for Yes' stuff, I'm hoping to get "Delirium" a few more plays to secure it's place in here. I'm not 100% about "We Have Heaven" staying in here much longer, but if it gets bumped out, that really doesn't bother me a lot. I hope to get more Yes in here also, and there are several songs within reach.....

Asides from The End. , Dead! , and The Sharpest Lives, the other MyChem songs haven't been played since June.   What I'm really curious about is what my Top 25 list will look like when I get my new iPod and put all of my music on it. I'm guessing it'll be some Rush, some Yes, some MyChem, and something else. But it'll be different - well, maybe not the MCR, but you get the point.

Finally, I got to my iTunes computer and synced up. I don't think that a lot has changed, but the MCR stuff hasn't budged. I haven't played them in 1-2 weeks. Go figure. And some of the Rush stuff moved, as well as the Yes stuff.
