I thought the song was about political power but someone told me that they heard an inteview with Peart and he said: I saw a cartoon on TV and some tree and thats what inspired the lyrics? Totally can not remember where I heard this though. Shoot this down if someone knows for certain that this is NOT true- I don't want to start a rumor.
