Pags
I've volunteered to design and publish a web site for the fire department I am a member of. It's the first time I've designed anything for the internet, and quite frankly I'm a nervous wreck. I'm scheduled to deliever the pages to the company that is donating the service tomorrow (Jan, 13th). While there is more to be added content wise, that's fine - I'll update that in time. I'm more concerned that it's going to actually work. Could I ask you to click on the link and just let me know the following things? 1) are the pages loading 2) do you see the images 3) do the links take you to where they say they will? 4) is this site pleasing to view? (I'm not changing it now, but would still like to know) 5) is this site informative? What is it missing? 6) what connection are you using for internet? (lots of images here and I'm concerned that dial-up folks are in for a rough time). LVFC Website THANK YOU!!! GP
1-0-0-1-0-0-1
I'm on DSL here at work, and it's of average speed. The main page loaded in about ten seconds, but the pic below the "Call 911" didn't load at all (the flames below that pic loaded). On the Apparatus and Equipment pages, the four small pics didn't load, but the links next to them worked, and the pics inside those links worked. Inside Ladies Auxilary the two links were dead; in fact, they didn't act like links at all -- just two lines of text. All the rest of the links seemed to take me where they said they would. The pages all loaded without incident, except for the aforementioned missing pics and links. Overall, the color scheme is easy to look at, the fonts are easy to read, and the layout is logical. The site makes sense to me...that's key. I don't feel like it's missing anything. Nice job, pags!

I'm trying to re-publish to see if it fixes. Ladies aux page is just text. I need to sit with them to get their info. I'll update that page to say under construction. VERY happy to hear that the site seems easy to navigate and understand. whew!! I'll bump the tread when I get the pic thing working again. I'm still very interested in hearing how the changing pics react on various people's computers. Thanks again!! The feedback is HUGE.

Pags
Ok. It figures the time that I ask for help - everything goes to hell. But it's all up and running now (I hope). Actually Mike, there are two major features I can't get working. I've asked before and got some suggestions, but I'm too html stoopid. After you've browsed through the site, I'll show you the two things I'd like to see happen, but are not at this time.

Sorry, it'sa an old joke here whenever anyone complains about Frames. Check out the band, though (particularly the Setlist album.)
