Over here, when we had the Manchester Storm, all the ladies drooled after a player called Brad Rubachuk. He played in England for a good few years before his career was ended by a vicious attack by another player well known for being a bonehead. Anyway, Brad used to play for Rochester Americans and the Binghampton Rangers in the AHL and was originally drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in 1990. When he came to England, he played originally for a team called the Swindon Wildcats and scored, wait for it, 124 goals + 98 assists in only 48 games!
