Xabiche
I recently saw a youtube vid of a guy playing Circumstances, using an LP & Marshall, playing against the original turned down a bit. That guy owned the shit out of it. And now I can't find it. Does anybody have a link?

jdouglas
wow, I can't swing a dead cat without hitting multiple guitar covers on utube. So far this is the only guy that seems to have listened to the actual album for something close to the tone (and the keyboard tone is good), singing is fair/ok... These all range from bad to ok. There are a few with les pauls in here, but wouldn't say any of them "owned" it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTlO6KWIkK0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Jh1tjGZrX0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlRegAHeg1I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_EHJc-IOUQ Edited January 20, 2008 by jdouglas
TheRocinanteKid
I did a version a while back but took it done, was kinda hoping you meant mine but it wasn't on a Les Paul so I guess not. Closed that old account though and the video was deleted. I should rerecord sometime.
PW_Guitarist
I think you might be referring to this guy (guitarwizardman2), he sounds pretty good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKHqsgaSMfw

And that "clown burst" Les Paul makes my eyes hurt.

Did you see the comment someone left that said 'damn..thought I stumbled upon a MYTH BUSTERS episode!' ?

Did you see the comment someone left that said 'damn..thought I stumbled upon a MYTH BUSTERS episode!' ? Circumstances as one I never learned, so I can't argue about the chord voicings. The tone is really nice. I'd rather he played the whole guitar part rather than the keyboard section. Oh well. Check out his rendition of No One at the Bridge. I started a thread for that: No One at the Bridge.
