owlswing
How's the 1/2 way point of not talking? Feel like screaming out yet? Well Don't! Before you know it you'll be able to talk again. Do you have to go back and get the A-OK from the Doc before you do? I know the whole clan here is thinking about you.
Frankie7
Too many threads here, it's hard to keep up! Sorry Geds, I had no idea you had surgery and I hope you're on the mend. How are you doing? That's a cute story there, the handwritten conversation, I mean. I used to exchange notes like that with my brother when we were young, just for fun. We both could talk but we thought it was a lot more fun to communicate that way.

Geds
Well, Since I am among the talking again... I will probably not be as bitchy as I have been. The cyst was benign, nothing wrong there, and i am supposedly not a person who develops polyps easily, so it should be a full recovery of my voice...and the doc says I may even see a little increased range. Oddly enough, when my voice was hoarse, i didn't have much trouble with falsetto, but any thoat singing, lower register, was always hoarse and just not there at times. So, thanks for all the well wishes. I will begin some self induced vocal therapy next week, and start practicing for TRF IDOL II.
