tascam
QUOTE (slamthejam11 @ Jul 16 2007, 02:03 PM) I wish that cowbell had a brand name on it. Lazy people cannot even put their brand name on it? No wonder it gets broken all the time. Anyway I think I will ask the guy who has Neils Tama Artstar set. He won it in a contest and just might have the answer. Good luck contacting him...I've been trying unsuccessfully for years!

o baterista
Also, the Guernsey & Holstein reference was originally listed in Rush tour books....as a sarcastic retort to the brand of the "Cow" bells....get it? yeah that was a dead end cool info

tascam
QUOTE (slamthejam11 @ Jul 16 2007, 08:37 PM)Well what makes you say that he knows everything about Neil when he really doesen't? Be very careful of what you read from certain members here, slamthemjam11...many of them are very, very dangerous. I say take comments from "certain people" with a grain of salt. You have been warned. I have tried to contact Robert Telleria (the current owner of Neil's Candy Apple Red TAMA Artstar prototype drums) for about 3 years now, and he simply won't return my emails. How have you contacted him? I have heard really horrible things about him, but you know how rumors get started and then get stretched over time. I would like to meet him in person, and decide for myself what kind of person he is. I also, NEVER said I knew EVERYTHING about Neil Ellwood Peart, nobody does!!!...Nor do I claim to....we are all learning things about him each and every day. I have been a fan of Neil's since 1976....and I share what info I have personally gathered about him and his percussion equipment with lots and lots of Neil fans all over the world. Trust me...learning about Neil, his drums, his cowbells, etc. is a life long project. All the best to you...

Pagon
How many drummers out there have a cow bell tree? ONE!!! And his name is... Neil is so cool for implementing the cow bell in all of the different sizes. That is the one thing you can never ever take away from Neil. The cow bell tree. Gavin Harisson has the chime tree. That chime tree of his is beyond musical the way he uses it. Gavin is such a great drummer. Neil loves his playing.
